Piling on?

Quite a measured and reasonable assessment from Keane.

Especially when you consider some of the %@#$&!s other people have been spouting of late.

Since the Glazers took over the club in May 2005, they have spent over £696m on interest fees, bank charges and debt repayment, and around half that much on players: £382m.

£700m on debt and another £200m into their back pockets. Dividends over that time would have probably been around £100m. So we could have spent £800m on transfers

We all know we've underspent for some time. Doesn't mean Moyes deserves time though. He's not getting anything out of the players he's got.

He's right

But also I will never be convinced that we would be in the position we are in, and out of all domestic comps had we recruited a top manager.

Sounds more like another dig at Fergie not keeping the squad as good as it used to be

What a @#%&!. Disappointed in him to be fair. Who does he think he is. I've never heard such a measured response in a long time.

No. And he is right not to. Which is what makes his response measured and reasonable.
