The England captaincy has been %@#$&!s for years, if Tony Adams was captain we would have won Euro 96, likewise BGS after,

there probably are questions to be asked over how the FA has chosen to deal with racial issues in recent years, but i suspect sol was a victim of his own temperament on this one.

Lack of ability stopped me from being England captain for 10 years. And I haven't got a £#%&! off mansion to go crying in.

Seriously, shit like this undermines the serious debate against racism in football. Its easy to brush it off when players like Campbell and Barnes are crying about not getting this or that when they never did anything to earn it. As Taff says, captains don't go home at half time.
