Not really.

Rooney has been at United for 10 years, and in that time he has only been used consistently as a number 9 for two seasons. In both seasons he scored regularly, hitting 34 goals.

Your argument is like your existence - pointless and shit.

His body broke down in 09/10 because we rushed him back for that £#%&!ING Bayern game, which it was hardly his fault we lost. If he didn't play that, Van Butyen doesn't snipe him, he plays against Blackburn, maybe we'd have scored a £#%&!ing goal...

But that was four years ago, we can't keep chopping and changing what we do with him. It's not fair on any player, however good he is.

RVP is a United-style player. Tough, hard working, incredibly skillful and ingenious at times.

Makes sense we will sell him then.

I agree with you, and I actually don't think he's that great of a finisher either compared to other world-class strikers like Van Persie, Lewandowski and Cavani.

However, the lack of trophies in those two seasons wasn't Rooney's fault; he did his job admirably. The problem was the lack of quality around him, and in particular the seemingly incurable problem in central midfield.

We should just sell all the players, forget this footballing lark and concentrate on what's important, the business of making money

Can't really blame him if were to leave. Hoodwinked into joining by Ferguson and then run into the ground by Jurassic Moyes.

He signed for Alex Ferguson's Manchester United who were winners, not David Moyes' Manchester United who are losers.

Spot on, although Fergie could always retire, he had every right to expect a top manager.

Odd how those defending mediocre moyes, happily talk about how we sign average players and complain.

7th eh for one toss season, unpalatable hard times. Sounds like he doesn't like us any more cause we've been shit and transfers that thought process to a highly paid player.

Be at home here.

No. It's fairly clear United are in trouble, they don't have the players to compete and the current manager has made things miles worse in a very short time. Why would he risk wasting the last of the peak years of his career with a midtable manager? He owes United nothing, he £#%&!ed Arsenal off sharpish.

I'll always support United, you dimwit, just don't expect me to be happy as a mediocre manager drags us down. You seem to be loving it at the moment, so you'll be right at home as Moyes turns us into the new Liverpool.
