Anyway. As it stands (and us getting Tevez could change this) 1. Chelsea [Width of a cigarette paper] 2. Manchester United [Length of a well-smoked cigarette made with said paper] 3. Liverpool 4. Arsenal 5. Spurs 6. Portsmouth 7. Everton 8. Blackburn 9. Reading 10. West Ham 11. Bolton 12. Newcastle 13. Aston Villa 14. Sunderland 15. Manchester City 16. Fulham 17. Boro 18. Birmingham 19. Derby 20. Wigan But let's do it again once the window closes. |

That's better, mate...

Roeder was never the man to do this. Someone of Allardyce's quality (attracts players, gets the best out of players, very modern way of going about things) needs to be at a bigger club than Bolton. He'd taken them as far as he could, but Newcastle - amidst all their hysteria - are undoubtedly a sleeping giant. He'll be backed financially and I expect them to start slowly but pick up late on. There's work to do, especially at the back, but there's also a lot in place there: Martins, Owen, Dyer, Milner, Taylor, Geremi, Barton, Deco? ( ) to name but a few. All players who have the potential to very well, they just need the guidance and 'Big Sam' has certainly shown he can get the best out of underachievers and misfits at Bolton: Davies, Anelka... I'm not saying it's nailed on - it's a prediction. But I think he'll be pushing them towards the top 8 and, as previously explained, I think a fair few clubs have the potential to do that. Ofcourse, I'll be wrong because it always suprises you! Someone you never expect to do well takes the Premiership by storm |

------------- Chelsea Liverpool Spurs ------------- Arsenal Everton Villa city Blackburn Pompey ------------- Sunderland Boro West Ham Newcastle Birmingham Reading Derby ------------- Wigan Fulham Bolton With a bit of a distance between Arsenal and Spurs. Arse are just stagnating and will probably spend this season 'building for the future' again, Spurs have all the ambition in north London at the moment. And I know they're here for our amusement, but I'm genuinely worried that city are going to do well this season. Notlob will be nothing without Allardyce, even with their continuing policy of signing random foreigners with a 'z' in their name. Everton have Phil Jagielka, so a guaranteed European place. Second season syndrome for Reading, especially with Sidwell gone. Fulham, just can't see them doing owt without Coleman. |

------------- Chelsea Liverpool Spurs ------------- Arsenal Aston Villa Newcastle Portsmouth Everton Blackburn ------------- West Ham Man City Bolton Fulham Wigan Middlesbrough Sunderland ------------- Reading Birmingham Derby I think we will win the league again (just). Both ourselves and Chelsea will be a good 10+ points clear of the dippers in 3rd. Spurs may just edge out Arsenal. All the promoted teams will struggle IMO. Are we all just biased towards Keano, or do we actually think Sunderland will fare better than their last journey into the Premier League? |

From what I've seen, Malouda is average at best. I personally don't see Chelsea being loads better than last season in terms of ability, an injury to Drogba and it could be grim, but Shevchenko might hit form I don't think we're "dead certs" to win the title. However i believe with the additions so far, we will be hard to stop. Besides, a United fan being biased? I must be the first |

bttt. Well, we're ten games in so let's have a little look. Is everyone on course? I'd just like to say that I predicted Chelsea for the title by a tiny amount BEFORE Jose was sacked/quit. Other than Spurs being fifth everyone else is pretty much on course |
