Even if he comes up short on that, at least there’s general progress with readdressing the squad.
It is a weak squad now with few options in some key areas but at least we can see a template of what he wants in style of play. Defenders who can play out, a high press, speed in transition. He is not thinking short term as Mou always was or even LVG came towards with the results pressure making Fellaini an option for him.

It makes me wonder what type of discussions have gone on behind the scenes, if Ole has the confidence to effectively weaken the squad to create space and opportunities for a rebuild then it would be strange if he suddenly came under massive pressure over results. Utd panicking and looking to avoid a true transition is one of the key reasons why this down period has gone on this long, just chucked money and names at it hoping for a quick fix. Ole's approach has a feel of finally accepting the need to take our medicine.

They will have old him that he needs goals to save the brand. Hence why when he gets on the pitch he's taking pot shots from 35 yards despite having teammates in acres of space. He's a goblin @#%&! who has always used the club to enrich himself and his crew. That performance today was nothing but unsurprising.
Exactly what I thought when he took the shot.

£#%&!ing disgrace of a footballer

The truth is our manager is way out of his depth and a joke in reality.
A manger who cut his teeth in management in £#%&!ing Norway.

Our top striker barely gets double figures in terms of goals and would be coming off the bench at Bournemouth if he wasn’t born in manchester .

the bed some of you wanted to sleep in..... get cosy lads

A defender who can play out but can't win a header. Revolutionary stuff.

Can’t believe Pogba is getting an easy ride on here. He was £#%&!ing disgraceful needs selling pronto. Would rather the kids play than a show pony wanting away.

We had 2 decent chances second half, he created both of them with moments of quality. Get rid of him and we’d do well to score again this season nevermind win.

Yes, I don't rate Lindelöf at all, a crap Daley Blind, Smalling is a far better defender than him, but he wants to prioritize ball playing so until Tuanzebe inevitably is played into the team by Lindelöf being a milksop then we will have to put up with him.

Not great in the air but he is not as passive as Lindelöf either, doesn't shy away from the physical as Lindelöf does. I don't expect him to outjump from a standing leap someone who is 4 inches taller than him, what every CB should be doing there is putting a body on him, getting the arms out, disrupting the jump, making it as difficult as possible. Lindelöf just turned it into a vertical jump challenge.

£#%&!ing hell

Defenders that can’t head.
Strikers that can’t strike.
Midfielders that can’t create

Our best player is a young lad from the championship
