As for Arsenal, that has to be their most embarassing result of the Wenger era
Even worse then the 8-2 and all the other shellackings they've had under him

To somehow lose to a Utd side playing that bad with that back 3 is incredible

that was a classic lesson in a certain style of football. FFS juve won european cups playing like that. forza utd

So we have got numbers back and the space that fullbacks naturally leave isn't there so Carrick can stay centrally more often than not. We now have no fullbacks fit either.

We would have got destroyed today with Smalling and another at the back. Would have had to look at going to 3 when Shaw came off too.
