Unless away fans get an allocation. That would be fun.

Should be a percentage of maximum capacity, not a fixed number.

4k in OT is far below the number that could safely watch the game.

4k in Craven Cottage would prolly be about a third full at the moment (ground is being redeveloped).

Exactly. A flat maximum across all grounds is ridiculous. There should be rules around distancing, number of supporters through each turnstile, access to each concourse etc and then the ground can hold as many as can be fitted in with those rules.

If they haven't done this sort of assessment on the smallest grounds then how did they come up with the 4k figure?

It’s not so much about how many they can fit in the stadium, it’s about what happens getting to and from the game that they’re more concerned about (unreasonably imo)

I get that. But so long as restrictions are in place on busses and trains, and they run enough, it should be fine. You'd have thought the risk of transmission on the forecourts would be pretty low, considering there would be a lot less people. And again, each ground would have different issues. The flat rate figure seems hard to justify scientifically. It feels like they wanted to throw the masses something so they just plucked a figure out of the air.

Fair comment

And absolutely no one would turn up at the ground who doesn't have a ticket of course. It's going to be a disaster isn't it

As long as Peter Bolton gets chubbed it's worth giving it a try.

Can see fans without tickets turning up to drink near the ground and mill about being nuisances.

So fans are back in, 2k is laughable really.

Saw a video at Arsenal, looks like they are all in the same block ffs.

Could easy get 10k in there, even with transport etc.

£#%&!in joke.

Should have hired a ground in a tier 2 area and sent 4000 members who had a birthday that week/month in on free transport
