But tbf, I dont think a single United fan was bothered when he left. But what a career hes now had. Fair play.
What was more annoying is that Fergie let Pique go because Evans was a better prospect.

Tbf , it was probably more he wasn’t going to shift vidic and rio for atleast the next 4 years and pique was ready to play first team football.

Obviously our most important player

Reckon he’d have saved a few of those penalties

With his head

While standing on the half way line.

He'd at least have drove the team forward. Bailly and Lindelof looked more than happy to just play it safe and not out ajy pressure on them. And both aren't good enough.

His ability to bring the ball out from the back and create space for the forward players is now clear for everyone to see

Surely.

Said this since he signed Maguire is our only good centre-back. And a leader.

Bailly, Lindelof and Tuanzebe are wet paper bags.

Tuanzebe gets a bit of a pass, the other two we signed for £30m plus. And they're shite.

No wonder we paid what we did for Maguire, he's three times the defender than both of them.

I really don't think we can win the league with Lindelof (or Bailly) as a centre back in our first 11. Maguire needs a proper partner, doesn't even need to be a marquee signing. Just someone who isn't weak as piss and/or mentally unstable.

We probably would’ve conceded the exact same goal with him on the pitch.

At least he would’ve brought the ball out with more authority than Lindelof and the disaster that is Bailly.

I think we’d have won with him there. He’d have brought the ball out better, especially in that first half.... and we desperately needed some personality out there at key moments.

Our captain on the night went completely missing too

I wasn't digging at Maguire, more the soft center of this team.

Conceding a soft as £#%&! goal while on top is our M.O. Doesn't matter who is in the team, we will always chuck a goal away at the earliest opportunity.
