The black 'Viewcam' is the best away we've ever had followed by the Admiral 3 black stripe.

surprised we've only ever had five black away kits, you'd think it'd be more traditional than blue

The acid house one (the 6-2 arsenal in the rumbelows cup) is a personal favourite as it was my very first United kit

The first united top I owned:

Was so proud of it. In retrospect it looks like blue wood.

Does anybody else associate each kit with one particular player?

They make me think of certain goals. The 94-96 blue and white stripes one is Eric's chip against Sheff Utd and Cole's winner against Sunderland in the FA Cup

Last year's away kit with van Persie. Will always be imprinted in my mind.

It was the best away kit in more than 10 years as well - that helps.

I had that one too. I think the previous away shirt, the crazy patterned one was the first one of my own that I got. Got a couple of my older brother's ones before that. Favourite one was definitely the 1994 black one. Had 'Cantona 7' on the back in cheapo lettering. Thought I was as £#%&!.

It is - but what did anybody expect from a shirt designed to look "good with jeans"?? :shakehead:

i was outside the ground that day as no ticket could be found. there was a gap in one end where you could look through. i could see one or two united players and they were about 50 yards away!
