For Jones and Rojo, we should be looking to cut our losses. Pay up the bulk of their contracts and let them go.
You'd imagine it would be in their interests to accept 70-80% of their entire contract, look to make up the remaining 20-30% by signing as free agents for a new club, maybe get a little signing-on fee, and actually play some football. Absolutely no-one is going to pay us any money for either of them, or cover their existing wages. They're simply costing us money by still being here and and can't be good for the group to have them around. |
