No one’s going to turn down a big pay raise now in case something unforeseen happens down the road; what if they get a bad injury? A smart agent would insist on a reasonable buy out to offset it.

I think we should go for him based on this.
Anybody else on here, and I would think they were joking.

It's great advice imo. He's a young lad playing at a club he loves who have gone out and spent big and he's landed himself 125k a week for the privelege. His worth won't go down in a season and if he proves what his potential is meant to be there'll be clubs clambering to pay 125 million for him next year.

The new Gabby Agbonlahor, highly rated young player showing loyalty to their home town club by signing a new contract despite interest from bigger clubs , then becoming increasingly embittered as the bigger clubs stop enquiring and he spends his career winning nowt before either his legs go and he's retired at 32 or he turns into Frank Worthington trying to do a knee trap in front of 25 people at Halesowen at 40 odd years old.

never quoted myself before. He's been brilliant these first three games, him Ollie Watkins and Ross Barkley could really create something for Villa this season.

Unless he can play in defence he’s no use to us.
