Shaw will end up left of a three as an option, we’ll upgrade at LB & have lop sided attacking team - very ‘08 vibes - AWB is a tremendous defensive full back. Let’s not make him a scapegoat, we should accentuate the sides quality. Upgrade the weak, don’t put down the quality. More than one way to play the game.

Rojo is shit.

It seems Manchester United are trying to pull strings to sign Villarreal defender Pau Torres.

According to TEAMtalk, the Reds are not keen on paying over £60m for the Spanish defender which is what it would take to meet his release clause at Villarreal.

The report claims United are willing to ket a host of defenders go including Victor Lindelof, Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo and Eric Bailly.

How much was he on a week at United?

What gets me with footballers is they get a contract of say 100k a week and would rather rot than moving on and taking a cut. Why doesn't Phil Jones move? It's because he won't take a pay cut. He could easily be playing for Newcastle or Sheffield utd or someone but he'd rather rot on huge wages.

Jones is what touching 30? Spent most of his career at United and played for England. He probably doesn't want to play for Newcastle even if they matched his wages. He probably doesn't want to play at all....
