Excellent today wasn’t he. Telles coming in has really given him a kick up the (fat) arse. Vg2c.

Just goes to show that Mourinho's "He needs me to tell him how to defend for 90 minutes" bullshit was exactly that. He just needed a proper manager.

Has been excellent this season.

Mad that competition for places livens players up, isn't it?

And decent competition for his starting positions instead of a guaranteed game every week.

Hopefully we do the same in attack soon.

Very good.

Have doubts he's mentally strong enough to keep it up long term. Same could be said for many players tbf.

If he can stay fit and in form for the rest of the season though.

Can’t even remember who he replied to.

Was definitely MOTM yesterday and he’s been better than he’s been worse all season. I think him and Maguire are developing a decent relationship on that side of the defence.

He had a very good game. Both Mane and Salah in his pocket. AWB did a god job on the other side as well.

Could have done with him getting his shit together before we signed Telles.

He's been good all season, all of our defensive issues have come from the right channel this season, which hopefully Bailly will fill.

His attacking is underrated also, everyone points to his end ball, but his quality of crossing has improved and hes really good at bursting out under pressure.

Nice for him to get his first proper season in for what seems like 6 years

Unbelievable turnaround from the lad this season.

Who knew that not being called fat or lazy by your manager could have a positive impact.

That was my problem at school. Not being called fat and lazy, just being fat and lazy.

Absolutely superb yesterday. Not just his defending per se but his composure on the ball, getting forward at the right time.

Telles is a fantastic player as well. Brilliant to have 2 options there.

Finally back to the level he was just before the LVG injury. Hopefully we get Memphis back and they can continue their partnership.

The weight seems to be working for him now, was bullying his man at times yesterday

Definite MOTM

Body positive reds

having telles join has helped push him to be better but it's also given him a chance to rest and recover properly not having to play week in and week out which led to fitness issues and injuries

it's always good to have someone pushing you to be a better player especially at a top club like United

We've been crying out for a right footed player cutting in from the left for years since he left
