As for yesterday he didn't have his best game but neither did any one else and there were a few that were abysmal compared. But he's playing in a key role for us as the link between midfield and attack and doesn't create enough chances IMO his touch in tight areas AT TIMES is awful
But we are struggling to create chances and the chances we do create we don't convert which is then putting the pressure on us defensively.
For me it would be one of RVP or Rooney up top with Kagawa at 10. Kagawa might not be the complete player Rooney is but is more of a playmaking 10 and in tight positions around the opposition box can create IMO

Agree with you actually. Rooney's been decent this season, bt he isn't a 10. Getting him to drop back and collect the ball in midfield is a waste of his talents because he has the energy but lacks the vision. All he does is ping the ball to the wings where our predictable wingers £#%&! it up. That means we offer almost no threat down the center and coupled with the shit we've been playing on the wings...disaster. Even when Kagawa plays, the team passes around him or the ball reaches him late with the oppo defence back in position. So definitely something needs to be changed in order to get the best out of him.
Kagawa is talented. He's not another Park, so it would be good to play him at 10, but the results may be poor if the team keeps playing at such a slow tempo or if our only goal threats are going to come from the wings. Understand that Japan plays him at left but we didn't buy him to play him on the left in the first place. We bought him because we needed that penetration down the middle IMO.
