Just can't see it. What is there left, 7 days? Unless a deal can be done in the next few days, allowing Spurs to spend whatever money they make from it, I just can't see it. He'd cost £25million at least - or rather that's what Spurs would want, as opposed to what he's actually worth. Not sure Utd could find that sort of money. |

If we've offered 25million they'd be stupid not to take it. A good player, potentially great, but not worth that much. |

But I seriously doubt United have bid anything, let alone 25mill! |

"The Spurs board have rebuffed all bids so far and put a £40m price tag on the 6ft 2in forward but with all the uncertainty over Martin Jol's future as manager, Berbatov may force the issue." |

I don't see it happening.
Fact is, when Tevez, Rooney and Saha are fit we don't need Berbatov. If Saha breaks down again before the end of the month or Fergie doesn't trust his ability to stay fit then we may well go in for another striker. But I doubt it will be a bloke who would cost £20m plus and presumably act a @#%&! if he can't get a game, as was the case when he was subbed after playing like shite against Sunderland. |
