Available on Amazon Prime.

Great watch, Robbo and Big Ron in attendance and looking well

What a player Christ the club needs a character and player like him right now

It makes me laugh when people post now about our season being over. Back in the day it was over when Robson got injured (which was a common occurence) in October.

Still turned up more often than Pogba. Came back from torn Achilles and dislocated shoulders quicker than Pogba from a thigh strain

Robson is just a truly great man in every respect*

*alleged infidelity with Sky Sports presenters only adds to his aura..

Just to clarify, if needed. It wasn’t a criticism, just a lament. He got injured because he put his body on the line for us … every game

Oh I know.. Robbo traumatised my formative years with his injuries He was still 20x tougher and more reliable than the @#%&!s currently populating the United midfield. I'd imagine all but The Scottish Player would @#%&! out of a 50/50 with Robbo now tbh.

He wouldn’t, but he’d lose it. I don’t think Fred is soft (he’s always the first in to back someone up) but his footballing ability is a different issue. Weakness (physical and mental) is, however, rampant elsewhere in the team.

A great player, absolutely, but he was so good that he could perform despite the heroic drinking.

Trouble was that there were other players at the club who weren't as good and whose performances suffered from the drinking culture.

I try and give present day players some slack in as much that society moves on and they are just a reflection of what men are now.

When I look at players like Robson though it's like looking at a different species.

We talk about “game raising @#%&!s” but if ever there was a team that was, it was Ron’s team. With Robbo, Hughes, big Norm and McGrath etc, they were well able to dish it out and could play a bit… when they felt like it. Preferred being a cup side and cba most of the time. Usually turned up vs dippers.

There was Jesper Olsen, though, tbf and Bailey wasn’t too keen on messing his hair up.

Robbo stands tall with any past players. On top of all his heroics, there was the move to Juventus episode. Jordan and Wilkins took the money just as they peaked. Not Robbo.

Bit odd, isn't it?

I suspect Robbo benefited from the era he was at his pomp, I'd imagine his socialising benefited from the lack of mobile & social media back in the day.
