Default Frank Lampard told by Chelsea: Find yourself another club this January.

Quote:
GUTTED Frank Lampard has been told by his beloved Chelsea: Find yourself another club this January.

Blues legend Lamps scored a 25-yard belter and got a standing ovation from the Stamford Bridge faithful as he skippered his team to a stunning 8-0 victory over Aston Villa last Sunday.
But the 34-year-old has been told his Blues career is over and that he can find a new team on January 1.
Fiver says he signs for us or QPR.

EDIT. Anyone reckon Benitez may make a move for Gerrard? It's Gerrard's best hope of winning the league and the scousers would have lost two messiah's in as many months. Let's not forget the sacking of their King recently too.

Will he £#%&! go for Mr Me. Benitez may be a daft bumbling @#%&! but he's not that daft

If he can keep his gob shut there and not make a @#%&! out of himself (again) then he will get a decent job in Europe

Where he will £#%&!-up, blame his predecessors and then the owners before being sacked...

Real it is then

He's got better options at Chelsea right now, hence Lampard struggling for a game. There was a lot of tension between the two anyway, wasn't there, from a disagreement about his best position?

One of the most overrated footballers of all time.

Must hold the world records for number of deflected goals and penalties scored straight down the middle.

This.

Hope he £#%&!s off to the States or China.

Starting to think that's what Rio should do too tbh.

Gerrard in his prime was an excellent player, IMO.

Lampard was a good player, but I've always felt he was overrated and benefited from playing alongside outstanding players like Makelele and Essien.

Good English box-to-box player, but not one of the elite players of European football IMO. Shown up badly at international level too. Those young Germans making him look like a fool in 2010.

People not rating Lampard.

ffs.

He's in the top 10 all time premier league goalscorers, and he's a midfielder!

the amount of goals he scored from midfield was sensational. saying he benefitted from playing with good players is neither here nor there, a good player is a good player no matter who he is alongside.

International level is hardly the barometer of quality anymore either. playing in a different team once every 4 months and then be expected to turn it on every other summer in a tournament is stretching it. next you'll be saying Andy Cole was shit because he never "did it for england" load of %@#$&!s.

Proof that if you throw enough shit at a wall, eventually you'll make a masterpiece.

I would love to know his shot to goal ratio. He must have the highest number of attempted shots in the history of football.
