. Nothing in football, or any other sphere of human activity for that matter, is as difficult as trying to foresee the future. Sir Alex Ferguson and Manchester United acted from the best of intentions back in 2013, and you could not have told either party at the time that Moyes’s hitherto impressive managerial career would hit the buffers so quickly
Absolute bullshit.

It was obvious in announcement.

David £#%&!ing Moyes.

Strange that most people "foresaw" he would flop the very moment he was announced, eh

Genuine question:

Would we be in any worse shape if he was still here?

Proven good manager before Utd. It could have been any manager and it would have been the same. All managers since fergie haven't done well. No idea why Moyes gets so much stick.

Today is his last day. Gold clock, signed card wishing him well, cakes all round, down the pub at lunch time. Oh, and speech by SAF.
