A win would have been deserved imo. Dominated without creating a load of really clear cut chances, but did enough. Oh well. Better than last season.

Not arsed about the penalty 'fiasco'. I have no problem in having 2 takers and giving it to whoever feels confident, the bigger problem is that one of them is pogba. Who, for someone with such a supposed big personality and ego, is pretty terrible at them.

Neves gonna Neves though. Never did get to the bottom of why no big teams went for him in the summer....

Very different test to last week. Almost no space to play in really as Wolves were playing for a low-energy point ahead of Thursday. Took a brilliant piece of movement from Martial and finish but otherwise we struggled to create.

Good, effective pressing though which is a huge improvement. In that respect we're a completely different side. And it's a decent result.

Thought it was vintage Neville hysterics re the penalties. The real issue is that there's probably a reluctance to remove Pogba as a taker because of his status. Happens in teams all over the world though. Risk damaging the biggest ego for a couple more successful pens.

I like the routine of someone takes them until they miss. Often seems fair.

Definitely this. We would have collapsed after that equalizer and Wolves would have run riot on us. Instead we rode the storm, didn't really get threatened despite some pressure from them after their goal, and then we got a grip of the game again.

Defensively that left flank looks £#%&!ing shite though, I get that Traore is fast with massive thighs, which is great if all he's doing is running in behind, but he's not exactly a technical wizard on the ball, but he we was still managing to skin Shaw with every attempt. It's two games on the trot where Shaw has looked suspect at the back, and that's disconcerting when you look at our other left back options. He looked decent going forward though.

It's obvious we are missing one of the many creative midfielders we did some right good considering over in the summer, or a midfielder who can play the deeper role in place of Pogba so he can push up the pitch a bit. We're still missing the key who can unlock opposition defenses.

Wolves are wedged and would want £100m minimum?

He's worth it. Give them £101m.

Ridiculously good player.

Clearly not as nobody did. Was overran in that first half despite being sharper and having more match practice than his opponents. He’s good but let’s not go overboard.

He'll have a massive minimum buy out clause in his contract, must be at least £200mil. He's one of the best in the world for his position as it is at 22, and he's been on the radar as being the next big thing for years. He was captaining Porto when he was still a teenager

He'll go to Real Madrid or Barca in a couple of years time nqat.

Starting to see how Ole wants to play. That's v. encouraging - was worried after the collapse last season. Needs more time to implement - still too sloppy at times - but good that after just two games this season, we're seeing a style emerge.

Still would like to see him drop his man crush on Mata. Greenwood should have been on for Lingard.

AWB and maguire have been brilliant buys. Have settled in well, and already look miles ahead of the Rb's and CB's theyve replaced. Big positives to take from the game.

They made one chance and took it. Utd didnt drop a point by bending over. It will come good. Another number 10 and possible CM and they should be good to go.

Martial and rashford need to step up. They drift in and out of games too often. Quite hit and miss at times but they have potential.

Lingard can get to £#%&!

Mata was our best player in those shite closing matches last season. Everyone went to pot but he kept his level. Probably impressed Ole. I think there's an overreaction to Mata at the moment. Has obvious weaknesses but he's not a joke player suddenly. Would probably have made the double change of Mata and Greenwood both on for James and Lingard a lot earlier.

Felt Ole was too slow to make changes when it became clear Wolves were going to sit off again after the penalty.

He's terrible. Incredibly ineffective. Last night wasn't a one off, he regularly lacks any kind of incision, can't beat a man, can't progress our play at speed - utterly pointless player

We were very controlled first half, could definitely see what ole is pushing for. Good energy, great goal. That said only 1 shot on target for all the possession. Second half lost control completely so no surprise at zero attempts on target aside from the penalty. Not enough consistent, quality creative play. Also still not rock solid through the middle. So we got to have everyone 8+s to keep them out and everyone 8+s to score enough. We'll get more this season. at least, with the pace we have and a more mobile front line, we can stretch teams a bit more.

Reckon AWB would make a brilliant holding midfielder.

Yeah, agree with that. Not seen any of it back yet, but shite second half like you say. What a difference a bit of genuine top class quality would make instead of Lingard in that high midfield/number 10 position

Two tough games on paper, 4 points- 3 more than those games last season. Beat Palace on Saturday and it's a decent start.
