Default Scholes to Oldham

Ginger prince could be set to be named as Oldham’s new manager.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...dham-athletic/

I expect he’ll want them to play fast flowing attacking football?...

looking forward to reading andy ritchie's and ian mashall's sneering critique of his management in the oldham chronicle, tbh

If sotto voce Zidane can do it with Real, Scholes can do it with t'Oldham.

Gives us a good option to get a few lads out on loan.

I bet there's a few managers waiting for him to fail though. Never lost a game from the studio, etc.

This.

Doesn't seem to have much about him tbh.

Hope he does well.

People really shouldn't diss him, even if his limitations as a pundit have been rather cruelly exposed.

He said all along that Oldham was the only club he would ever play for apart from United, I hope he is a success if given the job.

Mad innit. Came across as still living in a council house and would turn down a million quid for a 2min interview, when playing for us.

Maybe he saw he'd be needing more money forever to bail his thug kid out.

Hope he does well but he seems the sort who will quit within a year
