Football Team vs Fulham

Quote:
10:00 Here are some of the main points from Sir Alex's press conference (GT):
"Rafael won't be available for tomorrow. We sent him for a scan but there's no bruising or ligament damage to knee. He should be okay for Tuesday.
"Wes Brown and John O'Shea are fit. Bit by bit we're getting players back. Anderson played last night and is available for tomorrow.
"It's a question of what team I play as I have to think about Tuesday. There will be some changes.
"Fulham are a team who mirror their manager - they're very hard to beat. We need to perform.
"Fans were fantastic on Tuesday and they will be again tomorrow. They know the importance of being united at this time.
"Fletcher has put a bit of weight back on which is good. He's progressing not too bad now."

yep, that'll do. smalling instead of rio though, wouldn't expect him to play three games in six days.

Smallers in for Rio, Carrick and Anderson pairing?

Scholes will be saved for Tuesday and the semi imo.

I'll be on a 4 hour Coach journey so will have to make do with updates on my shitty mobile Phone.
I hate missing games at this stage of the season

Anyway, Ideally I'd like to see a full strength side because I expect Fulham to cause us a few problems, but I'm expecting lots of changes -

Kuszazck

O'Shea
Smalling
Vidic
Fabio

Nani
Anderson
Scholes
Park

Maybe. I was just thinking Rio needs games, shouldn't be too tough a work out against Fulham at OT, really.

Save Rio for the FA Cup and CL. Same for Scholes.

Ideally tbfingerscrossed

Rio should get 30 mins game time at the end of Fulham game when it's wrapped up just to keep him ticking over.

Thoughts about the semi final and Chelsea aside - THIS IS A £#%&!ING TOUGH GAME, and Fulham will not roll over at all.

A win against Fulham is absolutly essential and they should not be underestimated.

Is there anyway that we could get Fulham to just forfeit while all the Chelsea 1st 11 pick up long term injuries?

I'd be a little wary of demanding too much from Valencia. Four games in ten days may be a stretch after so long out and we need him for Tuesday.

Fair point on Valencia. Same could be said of Park though?

Gibbo on the right then?

Be nice if Josh King made the bench and got some minutes..

I think Park should be okay. Only did an hour at Upton Park. Besides, I don't think he'll start on Tuesday.
