Ronaldo had some games like this, nothing working, some embarrassing moments, but he would often end up with a goal or 2 simply because his self regard defied quantifiable mathematics and he would not stop thinking that he was too good not to succeed.

Nani does not quite have the unshakeable belief that Ronaldo has but he wll keep going.

Incredibly greedy in this second half though, Utd could easily have scored 7/8.

Terry is right about Nani, gone a little self indulgent in recent weeks, needs to get back to playing the ball a little earlier and using his teammates. He has had a great year, though, played a lot of games, probably needs a rest but with Valencia out and Park away there has been no opportunity to give him it. Giggs is in great form at the moment, so much imagination and class to his game, a joy to watch.

Anderson continues to show how valuable he is becoming, especially in these home games, really sets a tempo for the team, very positive and willing to take the ball under pressure, he needs to show some of the same form away from home, but very encouraging again from him.

He might be a little tired, but he did miss 3 games over Christmas, so he avoided the 4 games in 10 games like it was for the rest.

Shame Rooney couldn't score - how many chances does he need, FFS?? :shakehead:
