That's what I thought - commentators were going on about the last defender but you're not offside if you're level with the ball.

Premier league, best league in the World

The ball has spent more time in the air than on the deck.

Torres is going to be on his way soon, probably to the bitters. I have never seen such a disinterested performance.

everything about this screams 'average', doesn't it? no quality, nothing special whatsoever, just two mid-table sides grinding out a mid-table scrap. the funny part is the level of delusion on both sides, from the 'sleeping giant, best fans in the world, cathedral on the hill' barcodes to the 'title challengers, best fans in the world, steeped in history' murderers - when in fact both are now just pretty ordinary sides with pretty ordinary players managed by very ordinary managers.
