Default For the people who think Cristiano is leaving the club

Say we get around £60 to £80m, who is capable of replacing somebody like him and are they realistic signings?

There's obviously quite a few that think this story has more to it than just contract negotiations so a thread like this is appropriate.

Messi is probably the only one as a direct replacement, doubt he'd leave Barca + he's very injury prone. It won't happen but if Ronaldo left this summer things would look very very bleak.

Would have to change a lot to accommodate but we would have to go balls out to get Kaka here.

He's put out quite a lot of feelers towards England and United in particular before, with Milan being in the UEFA Cup next season this one seems perhaps the most realistic of very hard to get replacements.

One who is easy to get though, and if we sort his head out is better than Ronaldo, and at 27 is still at a decent age.

Ronaldinho.

The sort of prices talked about him are quite ridiculous aswell, 20m euros to 30m euros which is around £16m to £23m. That would leave a lot of spare change for more signings.

You do realise we're defending the premiership and european cup?

Imagine supporting Leeds and hearing United supporters refering to these times as 'bleak'.

We really are one in a million

I know, if we did sell him we'd sign about 3-4 players, and 2 of them would be very very good. Bleak ffs!

Benzema.

Then sign Tevez.

Then bring in a top class winger. (Quaresma/Ribery ?)
