Regardless of semantics I've always thought that an over rated goal and its shown too often. Perhaps how shit Sunderland were comes into it. Preferred the dink at the dell...

It's shown because of the celebration not the goal itself, which wouldn't make a top 10 of Cantona goals.

Not sure I’m having that. Yes the celebration comes into it, but come on - he wins the ball on the half-way line, beats 3 players with some absolute trickery, then plays a 1-2 then dinks it perfectly over the keeper.

It’s a wonderful goal.

The goal is top, but when it's repeated they usually show the dink and the celebration, not the build up. Still don't think I'd have it in top 10 Eric strikes but would have to have a think about that.

It is, but can still be over rated. The game was dead, 4-0 already and you can tell Sunderland are phoning it in. Rchard Ord and Kevin ball are the two Sunday league players beaten. Think quayfmders has nailed it with the celebration angle

Irwin vs spurs with the dinked eric assit has gotta come in somewhere here btw

Chip: Eric vs Sunderland or Sheff Weds as discussed

Lob: Beckham from the halfway line

Dink: Martial away to Norwich recently. Also see Messi, Lionel every week.

Nah. Lob is when the ball’s in the air.

See Hughes v Liverpool 1992.
