Needs surgery, out until April. Guess we'll pick him up during the summer instead.

They'll regret not selling him for £200mil a season or 2 ago to RM.

Dunno about that. Would want to see how he recovers from this injury. Those ankle injuries look to have taken some out of him already..

Would be absolute classic us to break the bank for him once he's jumped the shark.

No thanks.

Top player obviously but with all the other positions we have to improve on I don’t see much point in spending the whole budget on one player.

He gets a bad one most seasons, he's undoubtedly an absolute machine, but there is a chance he'll be restricted compared to his peak. Same way Shearer had to change his style to be less dynamic, not sure it would really suit our play to get someone who demands a slower build up. He'd still score a £#%&!load more than Martial regardless.

In short, buy Mbappe instead, Levy would want £200m the helmet.

Tottenham as a whole have deteriorated in the past 18 months big time, pretty sure he has been over relied on to the point to the point he looks shot but yet still scores plenty. I actually think he’d be great here, and would likely be up for being rested more often than at Spurs, which we can do with one of Rashford, Martial or Greenwood (or ighalo, I guess) taking over on such occasions.

As has been said, we have to prioritise a couple of other areas first imo. Say we turn around this summer and buy Sancho and a decent defensive mid (big Rice ), and THEN Woodward thinks “I’m happy to splash £100m+ on Kane”, I’d be chuffed. But I wouldn’t want us doing it in reverse as there’s always the risk we do end up tightening the purse strings.
