Its probably just scare tactics to get woodward to pay more. Tottenham dont have the money to compete in a transfer

Haven't spurs got about 8 midfielders and no striker now?

Why would they spend on a midfielder?

Eriksen's leaving. Mou Mou hates Ngombele, been trashing him in public already. Dier is shit and they probably want to flog him to us. It does make a sick kind of logic.

They've still got Dele, Son, Sissoko, Dier, Winks, Eriksen, Lamela, Moura...

and no centre forward. Seems like stupid business to me.\

But then wouldn't it be so utterly typical of the way things are going for us, to have our hopes dashed of actually signing a midfielder.

Hey, would you like to play for the most successful Portuguese manager of all time, live in one of the world's great cities and play in the best stadium in the country... or go play for the managerial equivalent of ned flanders alongside such greats as fred and pereira.

hard choice imo

It's Manchester United, the 3 times Champions of Europe, 20 times Champions of England, and biggest name in world football....

.... or Spurs.

It's not a 'hard choice' at all for a player that wants to play on the biggest stage.

Are we still the biggest name in world football? Surely that’s in danger of changing, we’ve been shit for nearly a decade now
