"the most epic title race in history" says sky.

Was it? Don't epic title races usually have thrills n spills? Dramas, twists and turns?

All this title race consisted of was 2 teams who were miles better than everyone else winning every week for about 15 games in a row.

It was the footballing equivalent of one of those F1 races where the guy on pole wins the race.

Bit like Madrid and Barcelona for a few seasons not so long back. Won pretty much every week so the title came down to the two matches between them. Everything else largely irrelevant.

Tyler was trying to big up what a roller coaster ride it has been, saying it's changed hands 30 times.

Yes, only due to Liverpool playing first.

It literally hasn't changed for the last 9 games.

The twist has been that there's been no twist.

The latest is always the greatest. Next years will also be the greatest.

Neck and neck etc but, nothing compared to 1999...Or 2012, as sickening as it is to admit

It’s basically being said because both teams got 90+ points. But that’s because the rest of the league is shite and why the top two were able to go on such winnning runs ensuring no twists and turns.

Yep, we've become like Spain. Or, less flatteringly, Scotland.

There are people forecasting it will be between these two for the forseeable future tbf - they may be wrong and hopefully will be, but who knows?

Compare with 20 years ago FFS - two of the greatest teams in English football history battling it out to the end. We got 79 points, Arsenal 78.

And they were the top two for the next five years. What's your point?
