So...as things stand right now, what is your starting XI (& subs) for the first day of the season?
I expect 1/2 more signings yet, but no harm in having a go now.
Seeing as it's Birmingham, I am expecting 2 strikers, no need for 3 central midfielders, the earliest i'd entertain that is against Arsenal. ...............................VDS Wes.........Rio..........Vidic..........Evra Valencia.....Carrick....Fletcher...Nani ..............Berbatov ............................Rooney Subs: Foster O'Shea Evans Anderson Giggs Welbeck Owen Weak points for me being left wing, and I still think we need a central midfielder. I'd like to see Rooney playing in an advanced role(and staying there), and Berbatov creating. No need for Park due to opposition. Arguably, Anderson in for Fletcher, but I think at present Carrick and Fletcher are our best two and i'd like to see them actually play games together. A quality left winger and central midfielder would improve the look of the side considerably IMO. Who they are though, £#%&! knows. |
