Good argument that even in the first half at OT, we were actually the better team. Just gave two stupid goals away.

Obviously you don't want to see us lose matches but it was job done. A weird one I'd imagine when they're so far ahead in the game for the players. Some players got some rest. Busy week.

Ifs and buts. Cavani should have scored 2 in the first half and Greenwood should have scored in the second.

Standard game in second gear, wheels only really came off when he rested our two full backs and replaced them with two that haven’t played since around December . To be expected . He needs to go full strength on Sunday throw the villa game and play the kids and full strength again vs scousers

We had two horrific ten minute spells tonight and one last week. We were
Comfortably better for the majority of the tie.

Great to be in the final.

The less said about that car crash defending in the 2nd half the better.

We are going to wobble in second halves of every game we are knackered. This week is going to be grim. Reminds me of the Time we lost the league to leeds when we had to play so many games in a week towards the end after our cup runs £#%&!ed us.

They’re moaning because we were shit. I guess now we know why he never changes the £#%&!ing team. De Gea must have made, what six superb saves? And they still scored three.

Yeah, but they should have scored eight goals in that stretch. Telles and Bailly really shouldn’t be playing for Man Utd. Williams has a bit of an excuse, but I think the same can probably be said for him too.

What the £#%&! was that idiot Fred thinking? He undoes all his good work with that shit. Still, at least he will have been running round with his idiot hand up.

We played better over the two games, but I’ve mentioned it in other posts - we could have comfortably conceded 5 in each game. The tie was always comfortable once we rattled in number 6 last week, but it could have been a lot different and much closer.

It’s a feature of the team too. Our game management is atrocious and it could be a factor in the final.

Telles was terrible when he came on. I don’t mind him in general, but he was wide open tonight. Fred was decent first half and then went into full-on careless @#%&! mode. Matic calmed it all a bit when he came on.

Without Cavani, we’d probably be out.

Pleased we’re through, but we must improve if we want to win it and finish 2nd. With the schedule and the fact we play them, Leicester will still be hopeful of nicking 2nd.

What professional footballer doesn’t know to hoist that upfield in that scenario? A Cruyff turn, on the edge of your box, under pressure.

No surprise with the second half with 3 defenders played approx one hour of football between em in 2 months

26th May 1999. 26th May 2021. Makes you think

Well people wondering why 'he picks the strongest team all the time' got their answer tonight really.

williams and telles tonight looked like they'd won a competition. That's the difference between us and city. They've got a laundry list of 60 million quid defenders to choose from and we've got a lad who's 60% quiff, the Brazilian stephen carr and the ivorian chaos.

Great to be in the final. Looking forward to the nil nil

No need to play Bruno n cavani etc today. Could have rested more imo. Might as well rest them all for the league now apart from the dirties game.

Did you see the match?

Roma could have easily scored 6 and you wanted him to rest more
