Question Rooney as player coach?

i know i know, another frigging rooney thread, but...

he knows the club inside out, he's won the odd pot, he seems pretty popular, he knows a thing or two about finishing ...

he's way past his sell-buy date as a 1st choice, or even as a stand-in tbf, so maybe this would be a great solution? part time player, full-time coach?

also wants to be a manager after he stops playing

Certainly wouldn't be against him being part of the coaching staff but his playing days at United are done.
Just been having the same conversation at work, I can't see a top 7-8 team taking him.
I think he will do 1-2 years in America and he will retire

So he won't become a decent coach because other people didn't?

Why do certain lads worship him? Is it a reaction to the critics? And or a north England chavy brotherhood thing? They see him in them etc. One of the lads.

I certainly don't worship, he wouldn't get in my top ten. It's the laughable arguments from the same clowns in their 30's and 40's that role, literally not one sensible argument between them.

"Fatty"
"Scousers @#%&!"
"Wiggy"
