yes, he's definitely proved himself beyond all doubt in his first few games

Classic new manager syndrome. He's got short term boost written all over him, and I don't mean the coke rumours.

If Villa have any sense they'll £#%&! him off over the summer now they'll probably stay up, and get someone long term in

Di Canio started off pretty well at Sunderland IIRC.

Don't think Villa will go down this season, unfortunately, but without any investment I can't see Sherwood doing much with them next season.

Top four is a big challenge, but it's hardly 'gone'. we're there now. We need to step up it. Starting with 4 points out of the next two. we're capable of it, we just need to prove it.

We need to string 3-4 wins together at some point and I just can't see us doing it. Not with the fixtures we have.
