That was laughably horrendous, wasnt it?

My first reaction was foul. I mean, it's not like his own player would pull him down as he's about to.... oh.

Any reason he’s been at port on for so long?

Don’t they usually cash in on their better players before their contracts run down?

Hearing he’s an out and out attacking fb, at least one position we needed upgrading on has been filled.

Shaw is an enigma - should be much better than he plays - but always gets drawn inside and leaves the wide player.

Makes far too many mistakes

Also has god timing and movement going forward, but abysmal end product

his recent free kicks have been very good and he can put in a decent cross. the reason he doesn't make the last step that we want to see - taking on the last man or putting the ball into a dangerous area - and would rather keep possession in a more pointless location is 100% down to his instructions.

So he is told not to put the ball into a dangerous area?

Pretty much I'd say. We've hardly got the types of forwards who are busting their lungs to run in to the box.

It's the way we play What is deemed as a dangerous area? Nearly all our attacks come through the middle via bruno, or Rashford coming in from the left etc. Shaw getting has far as he can then feeding one of them two seems to be a common game plan.

yes, dumbass.

he does put the odd cross in, but he is reluctant to risk losing possession on speculative crosses. and that is down to instructions. it's like watching a mirror image of tony v.

As much as your defense of Shaw is bat shit crazy, I do think Valencia would be our best fullback right now.

Antonio Valencia is a better full-back than Shaw, Bissaka, Dalot and Brandon Williams combined

I can't argue with that. The physiques differ a fair bit though obv. Maybe weigh about the same?
