they were bloody good to be honestbragging

Beef dripping, lowish heat for around an hour then heat whacked up for 30ish mins with garlic and rosemary added

Few smaller ones in amongst them, agree they need to be different sizes

The colour on them as well.... I like a few near burnt, a few just under and soft.....

Variety is the spice of roasties

most important thing with the roasties i find is to rinse the starch off properly.

proper par-boiling as well.

i also find goose fat really takes ages to crisp up.

Side note on goose fat and beef dripping etc it's not needed in my opinion and risks the potatoes actually tasting of the cooking fat....goose fat especially makes horrfic toasties imo.

They may lookgood but the taste is off......
