Abu Dhabi use city to whitewash their image.
If every time they play the opposition fans are screaming “cheats” through the game and that’s beamed around the world then they might question if this is the right project for them.

Let’s hope we set the example next month.

The footballing authorities in Scotland and Italy were much tougher on much bigger clubs...surely the English footballing authorities won’t want to look soft

Most likely outcome is....

Reduction of punishment upon appeal...one year ban

Once this is confirmed, premier league will impose points deduction from start of next season...maybe 10 points

Best thing to come out of this, irrespective of the final outcome, is that mud sticks, and city will for a time be the pariahs of the football world. This won’t bother their own supporters who are already crying conspiracy, but any future trophies will be tainted

In time, and this may take 5/6 years, their PR dept will rebrand them as a clean, honest outfit and all this will be forgotten....see Juventus

Best one I’ve seen so far is;

“After we’ve won the champions league final this year we should just walk off the pitch and not collect the trophy”

BloooooMon on the upcoming Madrid game....

"Blue body paint, so everyone is giving them the bluemoon"

They are actually seriously suggesting a protest against UEFA by painting themselves head to toe in bloo paint

"Great work Bloos. We really showed UEFA tonight. I bet they're SHITTING themselves now"

The squealing on Twitter is delicious can’t quite decide what’s funnier, their honest to goodness belief they’ve done nothing wrong or the belief that UEFA are completely in the wrong and that the Terms, conditions and rules that UEFA set for entry into UEFA’s competition, that every entrant must adhere to, are unfair

Not sure why they think that the court for arbitration are going to somehow dictate to UEFA that their rules have to be changed to allow City to do as they please

Can’t wait for PSG to get done too

I like the "that's it, gloves off" ones.

Like what the £#%&! are city going to do to UEFA??

They have nothing in their armoury that could hurt UEFA at all.
