Absolutely mental.
Remember thinking Di Maria was rock bottom but £#%&! me at least that #@&%! fought to get out of the club. As said above Sanchez has £#%&!ed the wage structure along with causing discontent in the dressing room and he genuinely gives off the vibe that he couldn't give a single £#%&!. Hope he eventually ends up in China and his dogs get eaten out there.

One silver signing - if we’d let City sign him, Liverpool would probably have won the league this season.

I'm more inclined to believe we were led on a bit by City. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if they knew he was declining fast.

If they really did, just shows their scouting is hardly infallible.

I think Fred is ok tbh

I don't think anyone could have predicted what's happened though surely? He was still only 28/29 and had been one of the league's best players for a few years, and was available (fee wise) on the cheap. At the time people were dreading him signing for city.

We obviously shouldn't have agreed to his stupid contract, but it was clearly Ed thinking he got one up on city so would go to whatever daft figures he could

Fred can have another year I agree, I've seen some good bits in him tbf. Patience with all the @#%&!s is very low though.

True that.

RE Alexis, his form dipped dramatically for Arsenal over the course of that season and the warning signs were there. Easy to say with hindsight of course, but we should have only broken the wage structure that dramatically for someone genuinely world class - Messi, Ronnie and arguably Neymar or Henderson

They wanted him the previous summer but after the start to the season he'd had they were cooling off. Us being interested suited them after they'd tapped him up.

We'll pay half his wages on the quiet if there's any chance of it happening. That's around £13m per year. So £39m we'd pay to get rid.

God bless stupid Inter. Nearly as stupid as stupid United.

Juventus also interested now according to Sky.

He could really be going...

What an atrocious bit of business. Woodward should have been sacked for that alone.

If he's going to Juve we can try to swap him for one of their full backs...
