Football does seem so different back then. Far more off the cuff, more individual play as opposed to the more collective football of today. Quality has improved since then imo but the intensity of those nights at OT

Didn't show Schmeichel's save from Zamorano in that video

It was so much more exciting, in part due to not seeing seemingly the same ties year in year out in the champions league.

Probably a lot of nostalgia attached. I mean we played Juve several times during that period. Bayern in the group phase and then again in the final. The recent game against PSG and last season against Sevilla the first times we've played each?

The European Cup had a novelty for us back then after not being involved for so long. Probably assists the magical memories. Everything before Camp Nou '99 felt like part of a special journey. Hard to really replicate that after twenty years of being in it.
