Lukaku would have scored about 40 in city's side last season FFS

That's assuming Lukaku gets into their team. Guardiola drops Aguero for patches during the season so...

Jose is all about merit isn't he. If a player is out of form, his stance is it's only fair those waiting get a shot. Sterling didn't deserve to keep his place.

That's why The Scottish Player was picked ahead of pogba, why martial is always dropped.

Obviously this approach can lead to players playing with fear and or sensing a lack of trust, but the guys waiting must feel hungry and hopeful...

So why didn’t he score one against Brazil, France or England?

He’s £#%&!ing with Sterling’s head. Why waste a gilt-edged opportunity? The kid has huge potential, but one of the most fragile mentalities i’ve ever seen. If he had confidence he’d score 40 goals a season the positions he gets in.

Didnt we already see that? Look at his record for belgium in general.

Because he didnt score does it mean he played badly vs brazil?

Sad to see you display such bitterness and hatred towards one of the few players we have who played his heart out week in week out last season.

Ah, hes a mou soldier. Thats why.

His goal record over his career suggests hes very good. Hes also improving day by day.

Obviously a bit disappointing to only bag 28 goals last season but it was a transition season at a big new club that had issues of it own. I would put all our houses on him beating that record comfortably next season.

That’s what I was alluding to pal

If we are blaming the supply line for lukaku’s unspectacular goal return last year in the Prem then it’s inconvenient that with Hazard and De Bruyne behind him he again scored agains the weaker teams and not the big ones.

Martinez deployed him brilliantly against Brazil. Huge part of what won the game to hold him up on the right as it stretched the Brazil defence. But his actual performance level after the groups was mediocre. Pointless pretending otherwise.
