I know Nani gets a bad rep. He was inconsistent, often wasteful and arguable never made the most of his talent.

But the quality of the goals he scored were something else...

That finish against the vermin at the Stretford End, absolutely brutal

That bit of skill against Arsenal is one of the best i’ve ever seen tbh. Especially as it ended up in a goal. £#%&!ing brilliant.

Agree with you, bit of a soft @#%&! crying at Anfield etc, but some of his goals

Notable mention to dribbling with the ball against Arsenal half the length of the pitch when we played them in the cup at OT

He was annoying as £#%&! at the time, but given some of the £#%&!ing wasters we've had to watch subsequently, I'm beginning to think maybe he wasn't so bad.

Had a period of about 18 months (starting with that game against Hull at the start of 2010) when he was genuinely good tbf.

10 years on and Anderson is in the Turkish second division

Quote:
Anderson’s loan at Coritiba done, his contract was terminated in January 2018. Still only 29, he spent the next six months unattached, eventually deciding the next step was a return to Europe.

In late July he signed with Turkish second-tier outfit Adana Demirspor, a historic club from the south of the country. Having supposedly received advice from former teammates Pepe and Ricardo Quaresma, the player looked unenthused during his unveiling. He is also clearly still overweight, and as the highest paid player in the 1. Lig, it would be no surprise to see this move also backfire.

The club have started the new season well, sitting in the playoff spots, although Anderson is of little importance to this. So far he has only played once, in the third round of the Türkiye Kupası against Yeni Orduspor, having been omitted from all squads in the league. Once upon a time world’s football’s golden boy, Anderson’s career now looks hopelessly tarnished.

He'd probably still do a better job than Matic.

Nani shouldn't be associated with Anderson

Far more productive player for us
He was a successful transfer for us unlike Ando

Nani

Scored and created some fantastic goals for us.

Never seen a United player score so many of his goals with his "wrong" foot.

Nani is doing well back at Sporting, which is good to see. Though they’ve just hired a Dutch coach from the Ajax school, which could spell problems. Ando’s penno in Moscow makes him a ledge

As indeed Nanners' If he'd missed we were out and no John Terry making a @#%&! of himself.

Nanners was a good player for United. Harshly viewed by some. Ended up with a great career.

European Cup winner, European Champion, Century of caps for Portugal, played in England, Spain and Italy. Not bad

Vidic then Nani.

It was Vidics best season. He was a one man defence at Spurs away that season.
