Default Jermaine Jenas would be a very good signing for us

Young, athletic, box-to-box midfielder who is bizarrely out of favour at Spurs. Plus he has years of Premier League experience under his belt. I reckon he would become a top player with our coaching, much like Carrick has. Jenas' passing isnt as good as Carrick's, but he is a more dynamic player.

If the club is looking for a new midfielder, I'd rather have Jenas than Palacios.

Jenas in the middle, Downing on the left. The dream team is starting to take shape.

Phil Jagileka anchoring the midfield.

The Treble would be a no-brainer.

How the £#%&! did Darren Bent miss that?

Still, he's good enough for United.

To be fair though, Jagielka is playing well as a center back. Much better than a defensive midfield role.

He does both with a world class ability. (the start of his Everton career was spent as an anchor.Yes, 'anchor' )

He's better than a shed full of our players.

I'm actually salivating at the thought of Jaggers in a United shirt.
