You can't tell nobody in the clubs boardroom knows £#%&! all about 'soccer'

It looks like we are now going to become a Liverpool of the 90s

There’s going to be a rash of extremely poorly attended testimonials in a few years.

Brand them as executions and they will be sold out. Al Jazeera might pay a fortune for the tv rights as well

I think that's only one short of Bruce and Pallister.

I don't even know what to say any more about Smalling, I must be missing something fundamental. Imagine making a list of United's greatest centre-halves. You wouldn't think of Smalling if you were sat there for two weeks.
He belongs at Fulham or Everton and that's being very kind.

What the £#%&! makes these players think they deserve a pay rise, and why the £#%&! does the club go along with it? Offer them the exact same wage as they’re already on, and most of it bonus related. If they can get a better deal elsewhere, let them. Who’s going to give smalling more than 90k a week, and we’re offering him 120k? The club is run by football illiterates.

We offer a payrise to Herrera, a player who barely plays for his current 75k a week, and he has the cheek to be unhappy with it? And we wonder why the attitude within the dressing room never gets sorted regardless of manager. Woodward, just £#%&! off.

I hope he signs a new 5 year deal, it shows the clubs ambitions, keep on giving the shit@#%&!s new deals, instead of investing in better talent... Give it another 5 years like this and we will see what state the gimps piggy bank is in, the global sponsors will be long gone and hopefully those @#%&!s too..

That's not a reason to give him £7.8m a year...

It also isn't something to be remotely proud of.

Thats how it works. Guy is playing almost every match so when you extend his deal he’s entitled to ask for a rise. Can’t blame Smalling; it’s more a consequence of the club’s inability to find someone better.
