You can't really continue when virtually everyone under you has been carted off by the feds, tbf

Whoever he backs will probably win any forthcoming election, though.

He'll die in a 5 star Qatar hotel, like his own private prison after they grant him political asylum!

The speech by the lad after was interesting, looks like a total dismantling of the whole rotten setup is on the cards. Total turnaround from a few days ago. Must be a load more shit to come down the pipe for a volte face like this.
I hope the @#%&! is in an orange jump suit and chains by the end of the month, end of the year more likely. 2022 has to be redone now, probably too late for 2018.

Even if Blatter was 100% innocent of any involvement in the corruption (well, we all know he was balls deep in it like the others), but even if he WAS innocent, he HAD to resign - he's supposed to be in charge of the organization. It happened on his watch.

I still can't believe the balls on them. How the £#%&! did they think they'd get away with it?

Yep. A spot of skimming of the money is one thing. Doesn't even affect Europe much so I doubt too many of the super powers would be complaining that some of the poor countries were misusing their allocation. But awarding the World Cup to Qatar was a move in the direction of royally taking the piss. A statement that the whole procedure is bent and nobody could challenge it. Step too far.
