Whereas LVG has commendably fixed up the midfield, but left us completely in the lurch elsewhere and has made a serious error in wanting DDG out.

In short - Ed good, Louis bad, rafabio #@&%!.
Who wanted De Gea out? Far as I'm aware it was only DG himself.

Also, quick reminder. Anyone looking to use these statistics to make Van Gaal look as bad as possible, remember you have to ignore the bottom 8. Thanks.

Kept De Gea and Bitch slapped Madrid in the process
Signed the Germany Captain
Signed a proper holding midfielder
Signed a future global superstar
Signed the hottest teenage striker in Europe for an epic fee on the day he got called to the national squad (echoes of the Rooney transfer)
Signed a brilliant Right Back
Sold Evans and Nani
Finally bit the bullet on Rafael
Sent Saffers over the age & made TBR look like a mug
Absolute scenes on deadline day inspiring some top notch giffage

It's been Supercalifrajilisticexpialidocious

And no doubt a big saving on the wage bill. If de gea had gone, it would have been virtually a zero net spend, and yet we'd have improved by quite a bit. Quite an impressive bit of business really, and obviously plenty of funds for further improvements.

we should have played de gea throughout. we'd have 3 more points.

van gaal clearly knows we need options up front.

Safe to say that saffers lost the transfer crown. Not sure which fredster had the best summer, edging towards Baron atm. Started strongly (Big Morgan etc) but he did flirt with going #@&%! after the Swansea debacle. But overall an impressive showing from the lad.

Not sure what we're going to do about TBR. The lad looks a lost cause atm.

The lads scraping round the feral wasteland that is the UWS/Sanc transfer thread for a smattering of hope to drop on us. Saffers, where to start. I'm here for the lad if he needs.

Good job we have an international break for the intervention

I think we moved on somewhere in the region of 14 players in total, so probably recouped a few pennies more. The wage bill should be millions better off though...

Very good window. Signed a couple of potential worldies in the Rooney and Ronaldo mould. A fantastic right back. We've actually got a midfield! Bastian £#%&!ing Schweinsteiger And we've kept the best goalie in the division.

Beats swapping Ronaldo for Owen and Valencia anyway.

Brilliant window made all the sweeter by Uniteds "go £#%&! yourselves" statement about Real last night.

I think we've done all right. Would've preferred a more reliable option in the attacking third than Martial who's a big risk, but the other lads brought in are all significant improvements on what we had. Can't see us greatly missing any of the outs either.

Still worried about Woodward's negotiation skillz. Maybe we need a proper director of football type?
