Default Transfer Window - rate LVG and woodward

Ins :

Schweinisteiger, Schneiderlin, Darmian, Memphis, Martial, Romero, Regan Poole (most likely done)

Outs :

RVP, Falcao, Di Maria, Nani, Hernandez, Janners, valdes (most likely gone), lindegaard, rafael, evans, blackett, henriquez and a whole host of youngsters

Midfield problem solved, RB problem solved, wingers problem solved.

GK, CB, ST problems remain. ST options probably the worse we have had in PL era. very concerning.

About 400k a week saved in wages and almost zero net spend.

Think this has been the best transfer window since 2007 summer in terms of squad strengthening. Would have been the best ever if we had brought in a CB and ST.

Still woody deserves a statue if he can get dave to sign a new contract.

De Gea staying will prove huge. Also very hilarious.

Martial - you never know, could be his first big season. Probably not.

The rest are all marvellous signings. Dropped some dross.

8/10

Thumbs up

Signed midfielders (I'd almost forgotten that was possible). Basti

Couple of future worldys in Memph Deep & Martial

Bought a ridiculously good right back from nowhere.

Briefly made us dream of Neymar.

Trolled Real Madrid.

A good window, nqat.

Midfield signings were good but didn't sign a recognised centreback or striker

Lots of balls on the table

In summary: breezes

Voted good which it was and if you take into account this time last year we would have had falcers and adm on top but they just didn't work out.

So the club is going in the right direction but I would have liked to have seen a CF and GK(begovic would have been ok)
The above 2 and a CB would have been perfect but that's life

Score

7/10

lots of deadwood cleared, but i would have liked us to have signed an experienced forward and centre back.

Shite, no CB, no worldie forward and now we are stuck with Romero in goal.

The midfield is sorted and the self created problem at right back, I think our need at centre half was always overplayed, we were the 4th best defence in the league last season with a revolving door at centre half, but with the start to the season we've made, I expected more up front especially with dumping Januzaj and Cheech at the death. Martial may turn out to be a worldy but we do look short of goals and options up top.

Being used as contract leverage by Ramos wasn't a particularly edifying spectacle either, particularly when everyone bar Woody could see it coming a mile off.

With the amount of money we're making at the moment and European football to be played, coming out of a window with a small net spend and a smaller squad than last year has to be a disappointment overall.

I think you'll find he won't be in goal for United's next game.

Wanting other fredsters negged while you lack the balls to get in the rep game yourself? Even by your standards ned, this is a new low.

Reported btw.

Pretty pretty good

good blend of youth and experience across the park. No doubt we would have liked a keeper and centre half but maybe the ones we wanted weren't available.

I was aware of that as I posted it, tbh

You must surely agree with the underlying sentiment, however?

Well, OK then.

I shall be astonished if Dave doesn't start most games for us from now on in this campaign, however.

Somewhere between average and good. Giggs said early on we wanted to strengthen the spine of the side, only the midfield spine has been improved. 7.25/10 for me
