Yep, I reckon the manager took him off to save him aimlessly running around up front on his own so he'll be fresher in the games they'll have more possession in. He could probably see that Spain had run out of ideas and he'd get the draw.

Where is De Gea...let me guess he isn't actually one of the best keepers around.
