we've swapped a keeper who was shit with his feet and a world class shot stopper on his day to someone who is ok with his feet but absymal at actually saving shots.

There will be some positives.
Some found positives in the striker signed that didn’t score goals last season

Or the winger we signed who doesn’t score or assist.

Wait a minute…..

I’m glad we won. But at what cost?
I dont get it. Do you think we dominated every game under Fergie? We had such late match winner dramatic games after a shit performance like this against £#%&!ing West Broms and QPRs of the olden days. Hell our most famous match, the 99 final, we were absolutely horrible in that game. Learn to enjoy a win. I am sure Erik is out there analysing the performances, every premeir league manager does it, you are daft if you think a PL manager with a team of some of best sport analysts and coaches behind him doesnt analyse the matches, no matter the result. Its not like Brentford were absolutely amazing and lost. They scored from a schoolboy defensive error and were peppered with shots all game. Could we have played better? Absolutely. But learn to smile lmao. We won.

Honestly thought that was the game you were referring to.

It’s my favourite memory watching us with my Dad. I’ve never seen him as happy since.

It was indeed a great day - my old man was grinning from ear to ear for hours afterwards.

He had stormed out of the house in disgust after Yorke skied a sitter with 90 minutes nearly up.

I had to search him out and tell him what had happened - he initially thought I was having him on

Gutted I missed the end of tgat but I was in a different place than my son so had to try and meet up before the end

A lifeline for ten Hag - was utterly wretched to watch.

Need to use it to squeeze out some positives but it’s tricky - forget about the keeper and defence, we looked so lacking in ideas up top.

Hoijlund has zero service it seemed - too easily marked out of the game, Bruno and Rashford shit again, the midfield shit again, the defence shit again and the keeper’s a £#%&!ing joke.

Not sure how it gets sorted in truth.
