Goddam it ... that’s twice in a week I’ve agreed with Jem.

This year has started out very badly.

Word.

The worst person that has ever lived imho. I’m calling sabotage. If he wasn’t actively trying to make us shit then no one has ever been worse at their job in any field ever.

the odd really good result aside, his tenure here was mostly miserable, both on and off the pitch. at least van gaal was funny and charming, and he seemed to respect the club and our fans. i don't recall van gaal going on rants about his previous victories against united in the champions league.

but, let sleeping dogs lie. he got what he deserved in the end, as did van gaal and moyes. now we have a manager who gets us, la.

I wonder at what point they decided he was going to be sacked?

Was it after the vermin game or was the decision made before that & the board waited til after that game so they could give the new manager a nice easy start to the job?

Not as strange as the fact that you’ve spent close to a decade posting on here as a City/Scouse WUM and haven’t actually wummed anyone.

I know many here will want to shoot the messenger and I totally understand why, but some of what he says has the ring of truth

Correct but it's like hearing Hitler telling you to eat less sugar.

He clearly wanted to be sacked. The board clearly didn't want to back him in the summer as they could see what may be coming.

Both are scum.

You'd be better of having some humility and admitting when you got something so clearly wrong. Doubling down just makes you look worse.

I'm not "doubling down" on anything, I've said more than once the club should have got rid in the summer if they weren't willing to get the players he wanted.

What followed was so totally predictable it hurt for that alone.
