Teamviewer still being a thing surprises me. Was one of the companies that had a terrible rep for being used by scammers calling up people pretending to be IT support to get them to install the program on their computers and hand over access remotely. Happened to me about a decade ago when some bloke called claiming to be from BT and that my network had been hacked. Except in those days I was on Sky. Rather than put the phone down I decided to play along without actually turning my computer on as he wanted so after a while he started to get nervous and agitated thinking there was a problem on his end since nothing was showing up for him to get access despite my reassurances.

TeamViewer are big on the Internet of Things and provide remote monitoring of a load of sensors in huge engineering projects
