The only downside to not having Mkhitaryan is what we got instead

Quite. If you look at, on paper, what the squad of 24 we could have had since Fergie retired....

De Gea, Romero, Grant (not arsed about 3rd choice keeper tbh)

Wan Bissaka, Rafael, Blind, Maguire, Bailly, Lindelof, Williams, Rojo, Shaw

Mkhitaryan, Pogba, Depay, Di Maria, The Scottish Player, Sanchez, Fred, Zaha, Lukaku, Rashford, Martial, Greenwood.

We've been light on leaders in midfield since Carrick and Scholes retired. Pretty much highlights our main problem that whoever you put around them, we aren't very good at getting service to the forwards.

Think that misses the script pal. We could never have had that squad. had to sell a lot of them to buy the others.... Lukaku to buy Maguire etc

Remember when we used to complain about Carrick in midfield

If we'd been a constant in the Champions League, it would have been possible. An accumulation of failure.

Imagine having creative license to create a squad of players we’ve had over the last seven years and putting that pile of shite together.

Thank god we had a manager who spoke out. Really helped fix the problem. Ole should do the same, then we’ll be European champions.

Unfortunately we can only consider those who are still playing. Otherwise Rooney/Van Persie/Zlatan/Rashford would be much more appealing up front - Zlatan excluded because he's pretty much past it.

Not me. Liked him from start

Was pure class in his final season at Spurs. One of my brothers is a Spurs fan, was fuming they let him go

That passing range and reading of the game

His haters deserve Fred and Perreira...

Got spurs up to 6th, within touching distance of 4th now.

Could very well win a cup, too.

Working his magic already.
