Hopefully he's one of those people who's a bad manager but a decent assistant/coach. Hard to get anyone top class to come in for a few months and at least he's familiar with what RR wants.

Yep, there are quite a few who would have been better staying as coach rather than becoming a manager.

Did you miss where I wrote "bad manager"?

Brian Kidd got fired by Blackburn as he was on course to take them down to the Third Division. It's a very different job.

He will be a good assistant

He lost his job cause joz Altidore
And some senior players did not want to press
Same can happen here with our senior players
